Prices

The Zugerberg Railway is part of the Zug fare network. Therefore, tickets of the Zug fare network (incl. Zuger Pass Plus) are valid, as well as national tickets.

In addition to the staffed points of sale, you can also purchase tickets via the SBB Mobile App, FAIRTIQ and at all ZVB ticket machines.

With a day pass from the Zug fare network, you can travel free for one day by bus, train and Zugerberg Railway in the zones purchased within the Zug fare network. Please make sure you select or buy the Zugerberg destination.

Bicycle transport is free for children under the age of 6. Free travel with the Junior/Grandchild Card for children (incl. bike) aged 6 to 16 accompanied by a parent/grandparent.

Do you use the bike trail? Then support the Zugerberg Trail and buy a day bike ticket for CHF 27.

GA

The GA travelcard gives you free travel on the Zugerberg Railway.

Half-Fare travelcard

With the Half-Fare travelcard, you pay the reduced fare for travelling on the Zugerberg Railway. Children aged 6 - 16 also pay the reduced fare. The journey is free for children up to the age of 6.

Junior Card and Children's Co-travelcard

With the Junior Card or the Children's Co-travelcard, children from their 6th birthday until the day before their 16th birthday travel free of charge when accompanied by their father and/or mother or an accompanying person (grandparents, godparents, etc.). The parents or accompanying person must have valid tickets. The Junior travelcard and the Children's Co-travelcard are valid for all fare network Zug tickets (except group tickets / free journeys).

Groups

Groups of 10 or more benefit from a reduced group rate. Detailed prices for groups can be found on the website of the Zug fare network.
