Path of lights
A sign of hope, a sign of contemplation: we would like to invite everyone to discover inspiration for the new year and draw hope at the end of the year on the path of lights.
Zugerberg Trail of Lights
From 6 December 2025 to 6 January 2026.
The Zugerberg Railway runs every quarter of an hour between 5.00 and 8.00 pm during this period.
The candles light the way from around 4.30 pm.
The trail of lights starts at the Zugerberg mountain station and leads 1.2 kilometres to the Zugiblubbi house, where the illuminated nativity scene is located. The entire trail of lights is characterised by hope and good thoughts for the New Year. Let yourself be enchanted and inspire others in our book of lights at the cot.
The Trail of Lights is not completely accessible with pushchairs and/or wheelchairs. At the bottom of this page you will find the route map, which also shows alternative routes.
