With the Zugerberg railway to the leisure oasis
The time has finally come: in accordance with the Federal Council's decision of 27 May 2020, tourist transport may resume operations. From 6 June 2020, the Zugerberg Railway will therefore be available to all guests again and will run at the usual times according to the timetable. The Zugerberg Railway will be regularly cleaned and the measures of the protection concept will be implemented.
From 6 June 2020, the Zugerberg Railway will once again be open to all. While previously only schoolchildren and residents of the Zugerberg were allowed to be transported, the railway will soon be available to all guests again. This means that the Zugerberg leisure oasis will once again belong to families, hikers, bikers and anyone who wants to enjoy Zug's local mountain and use the railway to do so.
Travelling safely with the Zugerberg Railway
The Zugerberg Railway is implementing the safety concept for public transport. The railway is cleaned daily and the handrails and buttons are regularly disinfected. If the minimum distance cannot be maintained in direct contact with customers, Zugerberg Railway employees wear a mask. Passengers are advised to wear a mask in accordance with the public transport protection concept. They are also asked to buy their ticket online or at the ticket machines at the valley or mountain station if possible.
