How to take part
On 8 December 2025, you will have two opportunities to walk the Trail of Lights with Zugiblubbi and Father Christmas. At 2.05 pm and 5.05 pm, Zugiblubbi and Samichlaus will be waiting at the Zugerberg mountain station for all children with families and other interested parties. The event runs exactly the same way both times, so you can decide which time suits you best. These times are coordinated with the arrival time of the Zugerberg Railway. It is therefore best to travel with it. The Schönegg valley station is easily reached by bus line 603.

On the way with Zugiblubbi and Samichlaus
Together with Zugiblubbi and Samichlaus, everyone walks the trail of lights. The cot will be at the Zugiblubbi cottage. The meeting ends there. But first there is a little surprise for all the children. On the way and also at the Zugiblubbi cottage there is the opportunity to take photos with Zugiblubbi or to ask Samichlaus questions.
The way back to the Zugerberg mountain station can be organised individually. The whole thing takes about an hour and there is no admission charge, except of course a valid ticket for the Zugerberg railway and bus. No bookings are necessary for either meeting. Very important: The whole thing takes place outside. Warm clothes are therefore recommended.
